This series of stills is taken from a 3D animation made for IBM; it’s an ‘explanimation’ that shows the complex relationships between retail stores, distribution centers, suppliers and the digital infrastructure that has to tie them all together to make things run smoothly.

The North Carolina Science Festival is “a multi-day celebration that will showcase science throughout the state.”  The design and implementation of the site was completed in two weeks.  This project was a collaborative effort at Morehead with P. Forrest Glass who did back end development.  I designed the site with a focus on a clean, simple and modern user interface.

This is an album cover designed for the very talented musician Colby Ramsay and his band My Boy Rascal.  The artwork incorporates watercolor and illustration done with a hand-drawn, folksy feel to reflect the sound of the album, and the mischiveous magicality of animals.

This is the interim redesigned version of moreheadplanetarium.org.  This project was a bit constrictive in that we had to use the same framework and content management system as the original site, designed several years ago.

Given these limitations, the new design is rejuvenated with new branding as well as improved information architecture on the index page.

The best game in all the lands!  Played by presidents, dignitaries and even the common school child!  Word Duelist is an action adventure word game where you, likewise diginitary, enroll in Morphemial University, battling fellow students and professors in word games.  Once you’re armed with an impressive battery of lexicon skills you can take down the dean and earn your diploma in Word Smithery.

In conjunction with The Animal Farm, I produced 20 character profiles, 9 dueling locations and all other game screens and assets.  And, of course, the website!

“Greening the Grid” is a website showcasing the the stories of Czech people leading the revolution of, and impacted by, sustainable energy practices.

The project was led by executive producer Rich Beckman along with a team of expert visual journalists, students from the University of Miami and Czech students from the host university Vyšší Odborná Škola Publicistiky (VOSP) in Prague.  My role was as lead design and infographics.
